Since our weather is often unpredictable, include some warmer clothing and rain gear in case of cool or rainy days. Of course, bring your swimsuits and beach towels for those warm days by the lake. A camera, radio, alarm clock, fishing gear, and a good book or two are also important items to consider. Also, we strongly recommend some sort of insect repellant (OFF!, etc.) as there are sometimes mosquitoes.
Flashlights are recommended since our terrain has been left for the most part in its natural state and there are many rocks and exposed tree roots in the pathways.
