With temperatures up to 40 degrees the snow is melting off the roof.  Matched with bright blue skies it's a perfect day to be out on the lake.  "Out on the Lake' they are:   fishermen with ice houses and cars (just like the movie Grumpy Old Men) and occasional 'ice walkers' like our son, his dog and new daughter.  He also reports sightings of wolves in the distance crossing the lake.  It's a nice winter day up north.
