In addition to the description of sunny September Days the adjectives of dry and drought must be included.  It has been way too many weeks since we have had a drenching, soaking rain.  

The sun is now setting mid-point in dinner service at 7:30.  The sunsets have been magnificent with the lake being so serene and calm; the combination of color play and shadows seem magical and different from mid-summer.  A painter's palette that blends dusky, moody colors with shadows of the setting sun have me wishing to be on the waterfront rocks soaking it all in.
